| Research
and development takes place at two major sites, in Redhill, Surrey,
and Southampton. At Redhill a team of over 200 investigates opportunities
in many aspects of innovation in consumer electronics (such as new
types of display, wireless communications and multimedia systems).
In Southampton, over 500 people are at work on the designs and applications
for silicon chips to be used in a wide variety of consumer electronics
products, from teletext to DVDs. |
